I don't feel that I can successfully teach the content that I teach while maintaining the necessary privacy that is paramount in the case photos that I use. Cosmetic demonstrations also, I feel, require a "hands-on" approach. Therefore, I will not attempt, as some have done, to try and convey my presentations via Zoom, Webinars, etc. My teaching is as much my ministry as anything else. I will not compromise my professionalism in order to make money. My mission is to promote educating on the value of good funerals with open casket viewing and equipping embalmers with some good, time-tested tools to do just that. In the meantime, we all need to become educators to the public at large at every opportunity and continue to learn and expand our professional knowledge of products and techniques that can make us better at what we are blessed to do for a living. Always "consider the why" and keep striving for constant improvement. Hopefully things will be back to normal soon.
